What it is
A single-player idle mining game on a hex map, run for an Empire that expects results.
You land on a bedrock plateau with no ore under it whatsoever. That is deliberate: with nothing to dig for, all three of its building sites are free for the things a colony actually needs first — power, storage, and the laboratory it thinks with. The wealth is in the territories around you, so you prospect outward, claim what looks good, and run power conduits to reach it.
From there it compounds. Six resources refine through six levels of purity. Six tiers of mine chew through six tiers of terrain, from the surface down to the core. Components feed foundries, research unlocks the next thing worth building, and a spaceport turns all of it into freighters and a fleet. Production continues while the game is closed.
You travelled countless lightyears, sent by the Empire to develop this resource rich planet. Your mission is to explore these vast undiscovered regions, discover the untold riches that it guards.
The rule of six
-
Six resources
Metal, Uranium, Gold, Crystal, Stone and Gas — each with the territories that hold it and the machines that want it.
-
Six refinement levels
Raw Ore, Crushed, Concentrate, Smelted, Refined, Pure. Every step up is worth more and costs more to reach.
-
Six mine tiers
Pick, Drill, Rig, Bore, Core Extractor, and finally the Lode Engine.
-
Six terrain tiers
Surface, Shallows, Deep, Abyssal, Mantle, Core. The good material is always further down than your current mine can reach.
-
Six territory types
Ironfield, Radiantvein, Gildlands, Crystal Spire, Stoneward and Gasfen, spread across a map of 259 tiles to prospect and claim.
-
Build the fleet
Research, a market, manufacturing chains, Cartographer Bots and a Prospector all feed one goal: the greatest fleet of starships the galaxy has seen, hauling the ledger offworld.
